The education I received from Jiwaji University still helps me in my career to this day, it doesn't matter if it is Conservation Genetics, writing proposals, or just getting along with the other members of the staff. They provided individual attention that has helped me become the successful man and student I am today."

After a successful Alumni meet in 2008, we group of Centre for Genomics moving towards making a mark in 2011. This alumni is a dream from a lot of the pathfinders and the watchers.

University alumni are people who have Post - graduated or received a degree from a particular college or high school. When people receive their diplomas from a high school, they remain alumni of that school for life. The same holds true for college students, and people may be alumnus or alumna of several colleges if they’ve studied and postgraduated from more than one.

It should be noted that alumni is typically the plural of alumnus, which is usually defined as a male graduate of a particular institution. Alumna is the singular female form, and alumnae is the correct phrasing for female graduates. The masculine form and the masculine plural, alumnus and alumni, are now used with great frequency to refer to all students, regardless of gender, and always when speaking of a group of students that contain both genders.

Its a matter of proud to be there in Alumni meets, because there is always a bond either bond of affection towards our seniors, professor and batch mate..... There is always a bell ringing inside our heart to be there and behave the same back days... leave everything back and just celebrate..

Alumni brings a lot of other responsibilities too if we are honest and sincere ............

People got used to communicate. Communication is one of the main reasons for the existence of healthy and prosperous society. Nevertheless, modern world is too busy and people are unable to pay much attention to communication for pleasure (we do not count communication for business purposes). The existence of different associations and other organizations is a great opportunity for many people to collaborate with people with the same interests and goals in life. There are a lot of different associations which deal with student life. An alumni association is a kind of students' associations which are formed by graduates or former students, if to consider the problem broader. Alumni associations are mostly spread in the United States of America and in the United Kingdom. It should be mentioned that alumni from schools, colleges, Universities and other organizations may create an alumni association. Different associations of this kind pursue different goals. Here is some specific information about the purposes, different associations use as the main idea of their existence.

Some goals different alumni associations may pursue

1. Alumni may function as a social organization and provide students with different kinds of help, like accommodation search, insurance policy registration and others.

2. The members of alumni organizations may aim to organize different types of parties, social events and others.

3. Publishing different newspapers or magazines with educational direction is a good help for the educational establishment an alumni organization works for.

4. Above all it is about interpersonal relationship, which is the base of society.

India's food price inflation has returned to double-digits, fuelled by surging onion prices, official data showed Thursday, adding to pressure on the scandal-hit Congress government.

Food inflation jumped close to three percentage points to 12.13 percent for the week ending December 11 from the same period a year earlier, according to commerce ministry figures.

The government, wary of the potential political fallout from soaring onion prices, has gone on a virtual war footing to bring down the cost of the vegetable, an Indian dietary staple and known as the "poor man's food."

"I am afraid there has been some upward movement of food items," Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee told reporters, adding "one of the reasons may be the high price of onions for which we have already taken steps."

Prices of onions jumped more than 33 percent from a year earlier while fruit, eggs, meat and fish leapt 20 percent. Prices of other vegetables climbed 16 percent.

The government, already on the defensive over a multi-billion-dollar telecom corruption scandal, has eliminated customs duty on onions as part of its moves to cut prices of the vegetable.

Onions are being trucked in from neighbouring Pakistan, where they cost a fifth of the price, in a bid to cool domestic prices.

The Congress party government, which fears a backlash from the "aam admi" ("common man"), which is its main voter-support base, has also asked state-run cooperative stores to sell onions at wholesale rates in a bid to ease prices.

Policymakers had forecast food prices would ease thanks to a plentiful monsoon. However unusual rains in some parts of the country damaged some crops, contributing to the price leap.

Prices of onions, for instance, have soared due to unseasonal rains in the western state of Maharashtra which is a key supplier of the vegetable.

The government has been feeling the heat over inflation as the opposition Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party has seized on the issue to galvanise its fortunes.

Overall headline inflation stands at 7.48 percent, still above the central bank's comfort zone of around 5.5 percent for this financial year to March 2011.

ite cartoon channels are NOT FUN TO WATCH ANYMORE. Lets look at the wrong things thats happening:

1) Bad promotion of their channels
- No more fun original commercials that are exclusive to the channel. Only info channels about the next episode of a show.

2) Large category of bad new cartoons and small category of good new and OLD cartoons
- The good cartoons come on less times than the new bad cartoons.
*Replacing Pokemon, Bakugan, Transformers, and Ben 10 with Total Drama Island, Chowder, ansd Misadventures of Gay Jack when they already come on about 4 times a day.

3) Getting rid of the cartoons that fully represented the channel (Looney Tunes and Cartoon Cartoon shows = Cartoonetwork)
4) Last and importantly, Merethons and Merethons of bad new cartoons or non-cartoons everday, even though they premiered two months ago. Repeats over and over.
- Getting rid of a good show that everybody loves and puting a hour or hour and half of a bad new show in its place (Getting rid of two hours of the Toonami block to have some Goosebumps that stayed there after Halloween and never fixed the block since then).

A lot of this I'm talking about Cartoon Network, but also Disney Channel (who have gotten rid of all the good disney animation (Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and the rest of the gang) that represented the channel in the first place), Toon Disney (same with it's big brother), Nick, and Nick Toons (X-men and Avatar are good though).

I know I'm a little to old to be watching cartoons in the first place, but thats one of the things that promoted me for a good career in the movies and television.
WHATS GOING ON THESE DAYS. They don't tell us over the internet. We always have to wait for a Comic-con or something. I don't have a full problem with the new bad cartoons and new non-cartoon programing, but they are totally leaving the orignals out of the picture. Also it sem like blocks are gone asnd we don't know if anything good is going to come on at that particular time. Like I see some Proud Family on the Disney channel that day and time, but the next day its something else.

My thoughts....................

I m sitting alone in this dark close room, having nothing to work on, i guess this is the time of bring my and others attention towards making better world.... we all caries the divine thoughts.

When I look around in the world and see all of the shallowness of the society, it makes me want to scream. Everyone appears to be dealing with the unimportant things instead of the important. Sometimes I find myself stopping to think; why as a society are we so stupid? It’s the conversations on the bus about which brand name sneaker is better, and the conversations in the school halls about who’s weave looks nicer, that leads me to be extra grateful for my own thoughts. For all sneakers are made of the same material, and how about getting to class on time instead of gossiping about each other? I sit and think about all the absurd things that I may hear daily and think, “why does it matter?” Why as a society do we neglect education to discuss materialistic things? Why can’t the conversations amongst most teens ever be about something constructive? Instead of sneakers, can’t we discuss an English class? Is that too much to ask? I find myself running into my mind to escape everything around me. Within my mind there’s depth. I think about school, and how to improve my grades. I think about Africa and why it’s essential for me to get an education, so I can elevate myself, and one-day help the starving kids there. I think about the economy and why I’m not going to add on to my probably forty pairs of jeans. I think about love and how even though it hurts, its better to show someone love than hatred. I think about how all my frustration might give me a mental breakdown, but how I must bounce myself back cause I have to stay strong, and be a role model. I think about Dr.Deepak Varshney and how he has proven that there still is a place for the nice guy in the world.
For, I am a young man who wants to be a Geneticist in the future, and I now know that It is not gona to be as easy as it appears. When I think about my thoughts, I see that I want to be a better person, and I work to be a better person, and this satisfies me. I can’ t find much hope in society so I go to my mind for a reason to live, because to me hope is what keeps anyone alive. So when I see that there is still someone capable to care beyond materialistic things, it makes me know that it is okay to live another day, because I can still make things different in the world.
I m having so many great people among me whom have devoted their life for to bring a batter world, to make life with respect...................
